Dwarrow Guard

The Dwarrows are a solemn and insular people, they keep no gods and say no prayers, for crafting is their only religion, every hammer blow, every stitch sewn and every stone carved is an act of worship, but if there is one thing they truly hold sacred it is knowledge. Dwarrows know many things, many secrets and deep in their darkest vaults are written truths unknown perhaps even to the elves.

Of all the Song Born the dwarren are the most popular among the men folk of Heimur, not because of any special affection for humanity on the part of the Dwarrow, but because they are the only elder beings that do not prey upon men for food or sport.

Dwarrows detest the noisome Trolls who cavort above their mountain halls, and they have no patience at all for Elven mischief. Many terrible and bloody wars where fought against Troll and Fae alike over the aeons and though a lasting peace was finally brokered by the Eldrid clan, the Dwarrow remained cordial but cautious among their new allies for many centuries.
